I have read about issues concerning Toyotas stalling out. I have a 2001 Corolla and my car has stalled out 4 times in the last three months. There was no precursor that was similar to each event. Each time I was in a parking garage or slowing to stop at a stoplight. However, I shudder to think if this happens on the freeway.

Consumer states headlights are adjusted too low, hesistation feeling when traveling slightly down hill, dealer adjusted throttle cable but condition still exsists.
