The consumer stated when he removed his foot from the accelerator, the engine would sometimes continue running at the same rpm, not decreasing and coasting as he would expect. As time progressed, the issue became more frequent and the decrease in rpm sometimes came 30 seconds after pressure was lifted from the accelerator pedal.
