The vehicle was towed to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.

The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, there was an abnormal sound coming from each tire, and the tires were slick while driving in inclement weather. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that all four tires needed to be replaced due to uneven wear. The vehicle was not repaired. Exactly one year after purchase and with approximately 18,000 miles on the vehicle — the original factory-installed front right tire catastrophically failed while I was driving under normal conditions.
