The vsc light is flashing, the traction control warning light is on as well as the check engine light. The traction control button does not work either now. I plugged in an obd scanner and got a c1201 error code which we were not able to clear. I don't recall if we were moving, parked out just turned the car on when the lights started but they will not shut off when the car is running.
I was waiting at a stoplight with my foot on the break waiting for it to turn green. I turn the wheel to make a left turn and put my foot on the gas and the car diedall the buzzers whistles and lights were flashing on the dashboard. . I was able to shift the car to park and back to drive but nothing happened I was in the middle of traffic on a busy street and was just getting ready to call the tow truck when I decided to turn the car off. When I turned it back on it was fine and I was able to turn left. That happened to me twice on different occasions. Third time I was turning into a driveway and a truck pulled in front of me I had to put my foot on the break. And then I put my foot on the gas and turned left then right into the driveway and it died. Ithe dashboard said put in park when I put it in park it said engine power low. The first time I took it in to Toyota I was sitting there for six hours and they could find nothing wrong. They told me they were working with corporate and no one had an answer for me. After the third time I called corporate and was dealing with a woman who was very professional and try to be helpful and told me to take a back to the dealership. I took a back left it for two days and they could find nothing wrong. The outcome was that if it happens again I should have it towed back to the Toyota dealer and not turn it on. I am very concerned I am worried about driving and having someone crash in to me if my car stops in the middle of traffic. I had a Toyota before and it was fine but I have to tell you if I get through this one which is a lease I will never buy another one again.

The vsc, traction control warning light on the dash will not go off. It continuously flashes and the check engine light starts on as well. I've done everything possible to get it to go off, including having a certified mechanic check it, to no avail. Therefore, I'm assuming I have no reaction control whatsoever as it keeps flashing "traction control off".
I was involved in a car accident on 2/20/2020 my vehicle was in motion. I felt my 2016 Toyota Corolla lose traction on the road and start to slip. My traction control light never came on and I never felt it engage. I hydroplaned, my car hit a guardrail head on, my seat belt did not tighten which caused me to hit my head and chest on the steering wheel and dash as well as injuries to my neck from being slung forward. My vehicle continued to impact the guardrail. My air bags didn't deploy which also caused me to hit my head and shoulder hard on the driver window/door. Upon the multiple impacts and despite sensors being struck, my air bags failed to deploy throughout my vehicle and my seat belt failed to tighten. Causing injury to different areas of my body.

Since I have had the car I had an issues. I have changed the transmission twice. It used to blow threw brake pads until I paid to have that repaired. Oil consumption was a quart now my piston isn't working. I called Toyota even about safety bag recall which never got fixed. I was told there were no recalls on my car and everything was fine. When I told about air bag recall I saw on the news I was told they will be sending all the information in the mail. It never came. I would like have my money back. The cost of repairs. I have always bought Toyota. This has been unfair not letting your customer receive the repairs due to them for installing faulty parts. I have done everything and now I need to get a new piston. 02/082020.

On Sunday, October 20, 2019, approximately 3:10 pm I got into my 2018 Toyota Corolla, the car was stationary in park, and was not running on a flat surface. I realized I forgot my wallet so I got out of the car and left the driver's door open. I retrieved my wallet within 1 minute and when I came out my car was rolling slowly on the flat driveway where I park every day. I tried to grab the door handle to see if I could jump in the car to stop it but it picked up speed and went down a slight incline across the yard. The door hit a tree and then the car landed in bushes. My neighbors came running over because they saw the entire incident. I was able to get into the car on the passenger side and I started the car's engine since it was never turned on and drove it out of the bushes back onto the flat driveway. The car rolled while the gear was in park and was not running. Everyone is not sure why that would happen. I'm asking to see if there is a problem with the transmission or the gear slipping out of gear. I called my insurance they filed a claim but stated it was very strange for the car to have rolled and told me to find out if there was a recall, also the adjuster said it was very strange as well for the car to roll in park and not running. They suggested it may be something with the computer system.

The issue started with the battery terminals growing a lot of corrosion. Had to be cleaned off and sprayed with cleaner and lubricant every couple of months. Then as I turn the key in the ignition, the car will sputter before starting. When the car is on, the steering wheel is stiff and immovable for the first minute or so. I can't turn the wheel. It loosens up as you drive. It will randomly get a bit stiff when driving on the highway. Typical speeds of 45mph or faster.
Odometer stopped at 299,999 trip a and b odometer works fine. . .

After another driver failed to yield right-of-way, I experience a fault with the automated driving assist system which during a merge of two highways in California; and failure of road structures allowed an older passenger truck to hit the Toyota's driver's rear tire and wheel well at a high rate of speed without evasive, defensive or warning from the 2020 Corolla hybrids.
Lane departure alert & pre collision system malfunction warning light keep illuminating on the dashboard for a certain amount of time and then will turn off again without warning. This is also affecting the cruise control and the abs system. I noticed that it affects what seems to be the transmission when I am coming to a stop the car will shake uncontrollably and act like it is out of gear. Almost like it is possessed. It's been doing it on and off since I bought the car and I have taken it to the dealership multiple times and they will fix it temporarily and then several months later it always comes back. This past time has been the worst as it seems like there are multiple electrical components that are being affected and it is actually affecting the steering as well as the breaking and efficient running of the vehicle .

We bought the car on 07-29-19 and on 08-04-19 while driving home from maryland the car sensor lights started flashing after only 250 miles on the car. The flashing lights were for brakes and parking brake, lane departure and assist, back up and front camera, check engine, tire pressure, head lights, and rsa malfunctions. Basically the entire safety system of the car malfunctioned while I was driving. This happened on five different occasions while driving it. 7-29-19, 8-2, 5, 9-19 and the car was in motion each time while on a highway. I had it to the dealer twice and they are still working on it. The first time they said the car needed to be reprogrammed and they couldn't duplicate the problem and the second time the service manager is claiming it is a wire which I find it difficult to believe since there are multiple codes and I don't think they all go through one wire. Our family does not feel comfortable driving the car when all of these lights are flashing and not knowing if the car is safe to drive and if the safety features in the car will operate properly. I have video and pictures of the codes that were flashing if needed. I could not upload them due to the size of the files.

Ecu failed.
My engine control module stopped working. Maintenance control lights have been on, even when no repairs were needed.
Red brake light, abs, vsc, power steering, and mil lights came on. Dtc's u0129.
My daughter was driving south on interstate 95 (MD) in the far left lane (fast lane) when her 2013 Toyota Corolla went out of control and went into a 180 degree clockwise spin across 3 lanes of traffic into the far right right lane (slow lane) and when she pumped her brakes the car went into a 180 degree counter clockwise spin back across 4 lanes of traffic almost getting hit by a Jeep before stopping on the left shoulder facing oncoming traffic. Incident happened in rush hour traffic at 9:20am on wet roads. Yellow abs light and traction control light was on, but not the red brake light. Was told by Toyota that the brake actuator assembly failed. In researching this issue, I found Toyota to have a history of brake actuator assembly problems resulting in warranty extensions, service campaigns & recalls on 2007-to 2011 camry's ,2010 prius, 2012 & 2013 tacoma pick ups, Toyota rav 4's.
I have difficulty when locking/unlocking my vehicle with my remote key fob and main look system from all doors of the vehicle. When the lock/unlock button is pushed on the vehicle's two front doors the driver's side door does not lock with the other doors on the vehicle. The driver side door is the only door that malfunctions all other doors operate efficiently. This locking malfunction occurs when the vehicle is parked. The driver's door can be locked manually by pushing the lock inwards or using the car key to manually lock/unlock the door. Please investigate this issue as the vehicle's locking system is a primary concern for the safety of the vehicle, the vehicle's owner, and the owner's property inside the vehicle. My vehicle is approximately 4 years old. I have also spoken with other Toyota Corolla owners (including year models of 2014 and 2015) who complain of the same issues.
Abs, vsc, mil, multiple warning messages including pre collision system malfunction, lane departure alert malfunction, front camera unavailable, cruise control malfunction. C1336 error code. Zero point calibration undone. Has happened 3 times.
Noted over head light by the back seat making a electrical static noise while the car was running on a city street and was about to make a right turn suddenly the engine died, steering wheel became stiffed not able to manuever, eps light came out battery was fully charge for some reason still draining the power down to 9. 6 volts from 12volts. Please see attached photo per my mechanic same problem from Toyota yaris 2005. This part is called the electric power actuator for electric power steering. Electrical system which on the board (green color)has malfunction causing the eps or steering wheel becoming stiff and battery to drained. When car is running and accidentally run over something like hump or any debris the malfunction will start. This is what happenned to me when I was about to turn right theres a hump. This part cost a lot and hopefully Toyota will enlighthen with this problem. I just want to help and let others be aware. I just currently bought my Toyota Corolla last March 2016 and I dont think I deserve to pay the cost of this malfuction which Toyota made. Thank you very much and I am looking forward for your help. Just imagine if this thing happen to you or to your family. Thank you.
It lost power while on hwy driving at appx. 75 mph.
Tamara inflator recall. I parked my car overnight, it was just fine, no problems. When I started it the next morning ebs and brake warning light came on. I didn't even move the car. Now I'm told the sensors mat be out. Had my brakes checked they are good. I just don't understand why this happened to a car that wasn't even moving. The car was parked in my driveway and locked.
Tl the contact owns a 2013 Toyota Corolla. While driving 45 mph, the vehicle shook and failed to accelerate when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The contact stated that the trac off warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to an independent mechanic or Toyota dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 88,500.
Takata recall I have submitted papers of numerous accidents and also engine and transmission failures my vehicle has given me. When I first obtained it, it had no struts nor do my air bags deploy when I get into vehicular accidents. I am unable to go to a dealership and get my vehicle checked but because it's non operating at the moment. I do however have open availability for a car inspection at my home if you guys were to send someone to come take a look at it.
Braking sensor/skid light comes on at random, then occasionally the engine starts braking in traffic, and sometimes threatens to quit, needing to pull off of highway and keep restarting car until I get a smooth sound. (1st time light came on, I skidded on a small patch of ice, the alarm went off, the light came on, and I couldn't figure out what was going on, sure didn't need to warn me I went for a skid, already knew that, didn't like being scared to death by the noise).
When the vehicle is sitting stationary and turned off for any given length of time in weather that is below freezing and then the ignition switch is then turned on, abs, vsc, and traction control lights come on and none of their corresponding functions are operable. Tires go into full lock up skid without abs and there is no vsc or traction control. The problem will not cease until the part causing the problem has reached a temperature of above approximately 32 degrees fahrenheit. The problem may cease while driving or when stationary, but the consistent point at which it is remedied is when the outside temperature is above 32 degrees fahrenheit.
The car displays hazard lights for the engine and safe road handling as though the roads are icy or slippery during the summer months in dry weather. The lights are on for weeks prior to shutting-off. Toyota failed to fix the recall on the airbags. The never notified of what could be a life risking hazard.

Car appeared to be running fine. Went to get a smog, " check engine" light on, as a result I failed smog. Code revealed was po741( torque converter clutch circuit performance or stuck off) upon vehicle inspection from canal transmission in el cajon, CA. Owner revealed that he had come across this problem about 10 times with Toyota Corollas. He revealed that each time he tried to fix torque converter, check engine light would still remain with same code after repair. He said they finally realized that it was an ecm issue and not a transmission problem. In 2010 Toyota did a recall on ecm. So what do I do? code is preventing me from getting a smog, yet when repair of torque converter attempted check engine code po741 still remains. I contacted dealer regarding code, they scanned car, the same code appeared. All they offered was 400 to tear into transmission to see if they could find issue. So in closing , we have a check engine light revealing code p0741; that when repairs attempted ,repair cant seem to be fixed satisfactorily to clear the light, because through experience of transmission shop it is a faulty code and the real problem lies within the ecm, which was supposedly fixed during Toyota recall. So what do I do? I need my car smogged to drive. What other problems will the ecm create in the future? Toyota needs to recall ecm again for this specific problem and other problems that may be created due to the fault y ecm.
"takata recall" I was in an accident in my 2010 Toyota Corolla exiting a major interstate on 07/07/2017. The off ramp had a very sharp curve where I lost control (possibly a failure in the stability control system?) and was traveling at around 45mph. I went into a spin and the left rear of my car hit the guardrail, spinning out still my car then hit the guardrail head-on causing the front end to collapse into the motor cavity. The airbags did not deploy causing bruising to my shoulder and abdomen areas. My neck and back were injured causing me to be immobile for a couple of weeks. I have had cat-scans and mri's trying to find out what my injuries are. I have to go to pain management to deal with the everyday pain and my life has been affected greatly. I informed Toyota about the airbags and they seemed very concerned. The are investigating the issue and sent out a company called bosch to download information from the cdr box. I am still waiting on Toyota's answer to this problem. I was never aware of this recall as I had purchased the car pre-owned from a Toyota dealership October of 2015. I also reported the airbag lights going off and on along with other electrical problems to two different Toyota dealerships along with allstate insurance company, my provider.
I haven't followed up on rcmn-10v017-5275 as I hadn't noticed a problem living in an area with level streets. However, when trying to park or leave a parking space on an incline or decline it is a problem. When moving in or out of a parking, I noticed that my gas pedal is very sensitive. It lurches my car quickly forward. This is not about my parking technique. Someone else familiar with parking on these streets is concerned about the car's acceleration. Is this issue related to needing a remedy to the above recall notice. If yes, can I get this fixed for free even though my notice has expired? what do you suggest.
