Our SUV started seriously skidding on the road surface while driving, check the tread and found inside and outside of tires edges bald, and center of tire also poor tread. So for the safety of myself and family I had all 4 tires replaced.

During regular maintenance in my Toyota Highlander 4x4 2004 with a 20000 miles, the dealership inform me that the tires need to be replace and told me that warranty does not include tires. I strongly believe that tires should hold more then 15000 miles. The tires are bridgestone dueler h/t 687.
My 2003 Toyota Highlander has only 20600 miles on it. I have noticed that all 4 bridgestone dueller h/ t p225 70r 16 tires are so worn out that I am having trouble stopping in the rain. I am going to replace all 4 tires but I believe that this of concern since I do maintain the tires at proper inflation and they have been rotated at least twice. The wear is equal on all 4 tires. This tires where rated for at least 60,000 miles and to only get a third of that and the expense is terrible. I have also noticed this on other Highlanders and even rav4s.

I have original equipment toyo transpath-a11 tires on my 2003 Highlander. I have 15000 miles and the tires are worn out. The maintenance is complete and the local Toyota dealership inspected alignment and suspension and air pressure. . Everything was good. I have been told by several toyo tire dealers that the early wear is because the a-11's should never have been on my truck because they are passenger tires, not SUV tires. Toyo states that the Toyota Highlander is classified as a passenger car and not a SUV, therefore Toyota specs a passenger tire for the Highlander. There is a loophole here that is allowing Toyota to spec a tire that will wear out quickly on the Highlander.
On September 3rd 2005 at 11:30 pm while traveling at approximately 75 mph on interstate 5 -15 miles south of sacramento California I experienced a catastrophic failure (sidewall blowout separation of sidewall from tread) on one of my rear bridgestone p22570s16 bsdlrapt30 dueler at tires. This tire had less than 13,000 miles on it and was inflated to 32 psi. The rode-way surface was in good condition. On Sunday September 4th 2005 I went to sears where I purchased the set of four tires to have the damaged one replaced. Upon examination of the remaining three tires for sidewall damage and in discussions with the installation technician I decided that because of this incident and a statement by the tech that this is a common occurrence with this tire, I replaced all four with another brand. Sears offered to give me full credit for two for the four tires towards the purchase of another brand of tire.

My vehicle is a 2004 Toyota Highlander. During the 15,000 mile service at the dealership, it was brought to my attention that all 4 tires were worn to the point of needing replacement. The service technician told me that the tires were wearing evenly and the tire pressure was at the reccommended pressure. During my inspection I could feel some slight cupping on the outside edge of the tires. The tires are toyo tranpath a11 size p225/70r16. The dealership is supposed to contact manufacturer to see what kind of assistance they can provide. This is very similar to odi number 10067341.
I purchase a new Toyota Highlander August 2003. Had a flat tire 6 September 2004. Went to get the tire repaired and the tire dealer found a patch on the inside of the tire. Dot of the tire is m65l b3dr 0603. This tire was installed on a new vehicle with a patch. I am concerned about my safety, my wife's safety, and my grandchildren's safety using this methodology. How many other tire that I have, have patches. I don't think this should be allowed. I feel it is a grave safety concern. I am purchasing a tire without a patch but don't know about my other tires.
