1 Body problem of the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser

Failure Date: 02/01/2025

2025 Land Cruiser bought 7 months ago constant rattling and tapping noise near passenger rear near pillar b and c. Brought to the dealer for corrective action to identify, address and to resolve the problem due to annoying ticking, rattling and tapping noise while travelling on a rough road. According to a service adviser their mechanics from dealer dismantled panels and head liners to pinpoint noise and find out that, the noises is located near pillar c and pillar b. As recommendation by the service adviser the Land Cruiser needed to be bring to a car body shop to reweld parts from both pilar b and c that was creating the rattling noise. I believe the 2025 Land Cruiser have a manufacturer welding defects that creating the rattling and tapping noise which is needed to be thoroughly investigated. Pillars a, b, c, and d on cars which have welding defects can compromise the safety of the vehicles and its occupants. 1. It weakens the structure and reduce crashworthiness. 2. Failure of welded components will reduce strength and load bearing. 3. Risk of cabin collapse. 4. It impact on safety features this areas is where airbags and safety belts been supported. 5. Welded defects will increase risk of accidents and injury.

2 Body problem of the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser

Failure Date: 11/01/2024

I recently purchased a new 2024 Land Cruiser. After only 2 thousand miles, the majority of the trim on the passenger side melted and had to be replaced. I contacted my dealer that I purchased the car from as well as Toyota corporate. They have taken no action and have called it "solar convergence". In fact, the first Toyota dealer told me to "keep it out the sun". Can you believe the explanation and lack of responsibility! this is definitely a defect in the trim material and needs to be recalled. I have since paid and replaced most of the trim because I couldn't stand to look at it. Please review my complaint and help me get this corrected. I would be happy to send the defected trim pieces and my invoices to repair this mess. Thank you.

3 Body problem of the 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser

Failure Date: 07/01/2023

I have purchased this vehicle from the dealer at prestige Toyota in ramsey NJ 2002- it was a certified dealer car. I have maintained my car and it still rides well, until about 2 weeks ago I felt the back of the car while driving 65mile hr highway that was curvy, felt like I was going to go out of control and it's never done that before. I took it to Toyota June 8th 2023 to get an oil change, and mechanic said my rear stable bar is missing due to excessive rot and the entire frame is rotted out and is not safe to drive, I am spending $1800. 00 to get the ac recharged and rear brakes done. Come to find out that Toyota had recalls on the tundra and sequoia but if they used the same frame, why did they not recommend a fix before this happened, thousands of dollars later. I am not ready to give up my car, I have taken it there many times now my car is unsafe to drive. I am very upset and not ready to put out money for a new car. Https://app. Mykaarma. 4 Body problem of the 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser

Failure Date: 09/28/2019

Experienced spontaneous sunroof explosion. Driving from estes park, CO to louisville, CO with my 9 year old son in back seat. Heard loud explosion overhead about 5 miles north of boulder, CO on hwy. 93. Nearest car was 6-7 lengths in ahead and traveling at 60 mph. It was a warm September day with intense 2:00p sun. We were finally able to safely pull over after 5 minutes. There was a nickle sized hole in the sunroof.

5 Body problem of the 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser

Failure Date: 07/10/2017

The vehicle's chassis deteriorated and it is now unsafe to drive the vehicle especially with some load. Despite due care in keeping the chassis free of ice and salt during winter time, the chassis is showing a lot of rust and appears weak to be driven at it's normal routine. I believe a vehicle's chassis could last for more than 20 years in the absence of any accident or collision which we never had with the vehicle.

7 Body problem of the 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser

Failure Date: 04/15/2015

I have recently purchased (Nov 2014) a 1 owner Land Cruiser. This week I had a brake line replaced and it was brought to my attention of the excessive amount of corrosion to the frame. We were all a bit surprised because the vehicle was kept in great condition otherwise and I did an extensive VIN check to make sure it was well maintained and serviced , which it was at the same dealership it was purchased at in central NY. The frame was coated with a underbody coating- apparently after the fact of original purchase, which left me in the dark about the situation underneath. I know there is numerous issues with frames from Toyota in this time frame and my vehicle seems to be falling under this excessive frame rot issue.

8 Body problem of the 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser

Failure Date: 01/02/2013

Excessive underbody rusting. I have a tundra whose underbody was changed upon recall by Toyota. Car is garaged or left in driveway. Every mechanic comments on excessive rusting including prestige Toyota but they maintain it's satisfactory. I had to change the thing holding the tire because it rusted through creating the danger the spare could break loose. Aaa would not change a spare tire because of rusting through. Toyota thinks the rust is ok. I don't and worry about safety. I cannot remember exactly when this happened. I can't accurately recall mileage when I noticed this.
