Brake Light On Problems of Toyota Land Cruiser

I was driving home on 7/15/18 and as I was pulling into my garage a loud noise started buzzing from my dashboard and my brake light, abs, and vsc lights all came on at once. My brakes had completely failed without any warning. The pedal went right to the floor when I pressed it and it would not stop the vehicle. I almost went right through the other side of my brick garage. Luckily the emergency brake allowed me to stop before this happened. I had just gotten off the highway traveling at 70 mph. I cannot imagine if the brakes completely failed at this speed. I have owned this vehicle for 17 years and I had never had a dash light or sound come on. There should have been more of a warning! brakes should not just completely fail without any incident or warning. I have seen a few other posts about this happening for other Land Cruiser owners and Toyota needs to be held accountable. This is a major safety issue and it should never have happened on the king of SUV's.

As I was driving, the vehicle's abs, vsc trac, vsc off, and brake light all came on at the same time, with an audible buzzer. Once I approached the intersection, I realized that the vehicles brakes were not working and had to push the pedal hard all the way to the floor and prayed that the vehicle stopped. I had just dropped my son and my neighbor's child off at school. Luckily, there was no one in front of me at the light and I was able to avoid an accident.

Total brake failure without warning - when the abs and brake light came on and the buzzer sounded there were zero brakes. Just starting out in the morning. As we live on a long twisting road that is mostly downhill into town, this could have been catastrophic. Who designs a brake system that fails to zero???.

While turning left at 5mph the abs and brake light suddenly went on and a high pitched sound came from the dash. The brakes failed completely with the pedal going to the floor and I rear ended the car in front of me. Had it towed to a Toyota dealer repair shop. Told that the abs activator master cylinder failed.
