Electrical System Problems of Toyota Land Cruiser

I was there to test drive a brand new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser (VIN: [xxx] ). During the test drive, I noticed the vehicle had an empty gas tank with only 7 miles of range left. I stopped at a bp gas station and discovered that my salesperson, no’ah edwards, had sent me on the test drive without a vehicle key, using only the remote start. This meant that if the vehicle had stopped for any reason, it could not be restarted. I reported the issue to mr. Edwards, who arrived and restarted the vehicle using remote start again, providing me with a key for a Toyota tacoma, which was not compatible with the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser I was driving. As an automotive engineer with extensive experience driving various vehicles, I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism and customer care. Mr. Edwards' actions not only jeopardized my safety but also the safety of other drivers and pedestrians on the road. The driver door window / lock control module will not learn or retain the connections to the other doors. While the car is shut down the control module works as if it is in normal mode and can control all the windows. The 4 door locking does not work while the car is running but works while it is shut down. I brought it to the dealer and even with the replacement of the door module doesn't work. This issue started with a ground in the passenger seat heater system which drew down the battery significantly.

Vehicle shuts down and stops running without warning. This is twice my new Toyota highlander hybrid has failed with a 13 day period. The first instance was 25 November while traveling on ih-95 near savannah, GA. The second incident was 4 December 2006 while returning from savannah, GA. Picking up the car. In both instances there was a loud pop and the car went dead. No steering, no brakes, etc. We could have been seriously injured on killed with no warning and no way to control the vehicle. The Toyota dealer in savannah thought they had fixed the problem. The car is now at the selling dealer in daytona beach, FL for repairs. I am afraid that the car will never be safe until Toyota issues a recall and determines why the car keeps blowing fuse high voltage< part no 90982-11049.
