Mechanical Jack Problems of Toyota Pickup

Changing tire can be dangerous in poor light conditions. Wrench handle became stuck in vehicle and was nearly impossible to remove without climbing under car and required use of a flashlight. Changing a tire under these conditions could pose a serious safety hazard and coluld be easily remedied with a simple change in the wrench design. Current design allows the wrench to be used both in lowering the tire and raising the jack. Toyota could provide two ends at a small added cost to them to prevent this from happening.
