The contact owns a 2007 Toyota Prius. The contact stated the approximate mph was unknown due to the instrument panel not being operable most of the time. The contact also stated while driving down the road at approximately 45 mph the brake pedal was not operating; however, on that day the instrument panel was operating and the vehicle stability control, anti-brake system, and brake light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local independent mechanic and diagnosed with an actuator and brake booster failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 203,202.
Intermittent headlight and brake light failure. If I turn car off and on again, lights work. Was pulled over by a police officer in January. I have headlight failure about once a week, and I likely to continue to get pulled over and cited. I have taken the car into the dealership and they are unable to find a problem.
My headlights, taillights, and brake lights intermittently go out while driving. One night, I was driving and I tried to use my high beams and all of my lights went out at the same time. After reading posts on the internet, it seems that this is a common problem for Toyota's. I hope that something can be donae about this.
Problems with the headlights in 2007 Prius. The first one on the passenger side went out on 07/07/09 when the car was two years old. This one was covered by warranty. The headlight on the driver side has now gone out intermittently. The same way as the previous headlight. We also had to replace one of our brake lights.
