The vehicle was later towed to white river Toyota (303 sykes mountain Ave, white river junction, vt 05001, (802) 299-2800) to be diagnosed, but the failure could not be duplicated. The mechanic also stated that if they could not duplicate the failure, then there was no failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided a case number. The failure mileage was 63,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Toyota Prius c. While driving 35 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle managed to restart after a few attempts and the failure was corrected. The contact was able to drive the vehicle home. A dealer and the manufacturer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000.
