One problem related to door latch has been reported for the 1997 Toyota RAV4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Door locks: door locks will not lock unless consumer uses the key. Sometimes it locks driver in and can't get out. Problem still occurs, even after the fourth attempt to fix the manual door latch.
