One problem related to steering wheel has been reported for the 1997 Toyota RAV4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Steering wheel nut became loose while driving, damaging cable reel assembly which control airbag, causing loss of vehicle control. Consumer stated steering wheel nut must have come from manufacturer loose.
