One problem related to turn signal has been reported for the 1997 Toyota RAV4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Prior to a turn, when the left or right blinker is put on, the headlights go off. After about 4 seconds they come back on. Then, after the turn, as the blinker automatically cancels, the headlights go out again for about 15 seconds.
