Two problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 1998 Toyota RAV4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer was traveling about 40mph and hit another vehicle head on. Upon impact, airbags didn't deploy. Automobile repair shop determined that the sensor was scratched. District manager kept making unscheduled visits.
Air bag light failed. Yh.
