One problem related to speed control linkage has been reported for the 1999 Toyota RAV4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Cruise control arm fell off the vehicle when t brakes were applied. Vehicle proceeded, resulting in a collision. Dealer isnpected the vehicle prior to the incident. Manufacture has been notified.
