Failure of windshield wiper system on a 2009 Toyota rav-4 during a storm on January 30, 2010. Owner was driving on maryland interstate highway 695. The windshield wipers system was turned on to clear precipitation from the windshield. The blades were not frozen to the windshield. Suddenly, the right wiper blade inverted (like an umbrella turning inside out), striking the left wiper blade, causing the wiper blade system to fail and damaging the windshield.
