We tried to open the back hatch and the handle was broken. There is no other way to open the hatch. Because of this, my husband had to crawl over the seats and pull our heavy luggage out the other direction while the shuttle was waiting to take us to the airport. We had to spend $200 to repair this problem in addition to our other problems with this vehicle.
Tracking control and emergency brake lights stay on all the time. Have had the problem fixed twice, but within a week or 2, the lights come back on and stay on incessantly. Toyota service center says "there is nothing they can do about it", so I have lived with it for 4+ years now. The brakes shake the entire vehicle when applied, they feel warped or bumpy. Again, "there is nothing they can do about it".
Faulty latch on rear hatch. Unable to open with either key or with remote. It is stuck because it may have something defective with either the latch or the lock.
