My gas gauge sensor consistently drops below the “e” marker when the truck has gas in it and especially when it is filled up. After driving about 50 miles or so, the gauge will move up some ; however, I have been relying on my dte monitor to let me know about gas. I have taken it to the dealer twice and both said “the gas tank needs to be dropped in order for repair” I was about to pay for the service but was told I had to make an appointment. However the service advise ask had I had it replaced before because there was a recall on that particular part several years ago. Please note I have never received any notice about a recall regarding the issue. Please advise.
Can not acsess the failed charcoal canister due to rear door failing and am unable to open . So I can not drop the spare tire and acsess the canister.
When driving about 45 or 60 mph the steering wheel shakes real bad an vibrates feels like I got a flat tire or feels like I'm gonna have a tire come off when I bought it also consumes a lot of gas ust to get real good gas mileage but now not so good juust to fill up twice a week but now sometimes 3 to 5 timeswhich is weird didn't know I had a recall warranty I have had to replace a lot of things especially in the emissions part for car bought new fuel line solenoids , purge solenoid, now it says I need a new valve vent solenoid. There is a vacuum leak other than that runs good doesn't over heat or break unless I needed to but uses a lot of GA shakes real bad I don't wanna drivemorethan 70 mph all the tires are at 41 psi.
`while driving at about 55 mph, the abs, track control sensor lights came on and suddenly the acceleration stops I press the pedal to accelerate and there was no response I could not accelerate so I turn my emergency lights on, and accelerate again and this time it worked. But it's been doing that on everyday basis the mechanic said is the vehicles computer, is there a recall for this problem? can someone help?.
I was driving at 55 mph, suddenly the car in front me stop at the fwy. I made panic stop but my abs wont activate. I just bump a car.
Repeated incidences of gas pedal being stuck and unable to be depressed to give the vehicle fuel and accelerate. Essentially vehicle randomly locks up, typically at low speeds as on a parking lot or leaving a driveway or paring garage. The gas pedal feels as if there is something blocking it from being utilized while there is nothing physically obstructing the pedal. After tapping and then frantically trying to push the accelerator and break it free it causes the vehicle to lunge forward necessitating quick reaction and breaking. It is scattered but reoccurs periodically with no warning. Vehicle is currently under recall for the traction, skid, stability issues and airbags. Scheduled for recall services mentioned but dealer says nothing is wrong with pedal. Once told it was cleaned and adjusted but is mostly ignored and I'm treated like I'm nuts. Not being taken seriously but I'm afraid that someone may be hurt. It is a frightening event as you feel not in control of the vehicle and vulnerable. Have had it happen when pulling into traffic or turning onto busy street. Even giving ample time for normal traffic, the inability to provide gas to the vehicle left us at the vehicles mercy and in a vulnerable spot to be briar sides by oncoming traffic. It was not the floor mat.
