The contact owns a 2003 Toyota Sequoia. The contact stated that while driving 10 mph, he noticed that the vehicle was exhibitng an abnormal noise as if he were driving on a flat tire. After pulling over, he noticed that the front passenger tire was separated from the vehicle due to a broken lug nut. The vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic and they advised him that he would need to install studs on the rotors and replace the lug nuts. The vehicle was repaired. The failure and current mileages was approximately 86,000. Updated 05/25/11 the consumer stated the wrong lug uts were installed on the vehicle. Upated 06/03/11.
