The contact owns a 2006 Toyota Sequoia. The contact stated that while at a stop light, all the warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel as the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The failure recurred several times and the vehicle was taken to another dealer, where the valve spring key was replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacture was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 112,966. Updated 8/12/cn the consumer stated the repairs performed on the vehicle were done incorrectly . The valve key loosened causing the vehicle to misfire. Vehicle acceleration stalls for a few seconds when turning right into traffic. This issue is the same as NHTSA 10v176000, but is not covered under this safety recall. This issue is very hazardous to drivers.
