A loud clunking noise comes from rear brakes while backing and stepping on brake pedal. Sounds like hitting another vehicle. Two visits to dealer can find nothing wrong mechanically. Potential safety issue.
When vehicle is backing up and the wheels are turned to the right or left, a loud clicking sound is heard from the brake area while the driver is pumping (stepping & completely releasing) the brake pedal.
