Mid/rear Seats Assembly problems of the 2000 Toyota Sienna

I own a 2000 Toyota Sienna which I have had for one year. To date, I have paid to repair the rear seat, as once it was taken out, the mechanism broke and it could not be put back in the car. Also, we have replaced the drivers side seat belt (the whole thing) because the seat belt light would constantly blink. Now the passenger side seat belt light blinks when the seat belt is latched and when nobody is sitting there. The power sliding door has been looked at and repaired three different times. It continues to open, but will never close all the way. Both the drivers side and passengers side power windows will not roll down (or if they do, they will not go back up). There is a banging sound coming from the middle floor board by the gas pedal. The transmission has been replaced. Finally, the rear door latch broke completely and there is no way to open the rear door - from the inside or out. All of this is with normal wear.

Since we purchased the Toyota Sienna xle about 3 years ago we have had nothing but trouble. Our biggest problems have occurred only recently. The automatic door was not working and the mechanic had to take off the automatic part so it had to be opened manually. Well after about a week of manually opening and pulling out my shoulder every time, the door knob came off. We have also had in the past a very loud squealing noise every time we started the car. We had the belts tightened and even had the battery changed and then suddenly it stopped. One of our captains chairs will not go back into the upright position. And lastly the bar that holds open the hood has come off and does not go back into place.

While vehicle is in motion the sliding door automatically unlocks. Also, there is a safety device button located in the back seat designed for an adult passenger to get in and out of the car easily. But if a child's hand was to get caught in it, the hand would not be released since it back seat does not have a sensor switch to recognize a child's hand. This feature should be controlled by the driver.
