Driving on the highway just north of merritt bc approximately 60 mph the sun roof blew out dropping glass inside our van and on top of the driver and passenger. Had the sunroof taped and sealed by speedy glass until we get home to check warranties and insurance.
Sliding sunroof has mechanical issue when driving. At higher speeds over 45 mph the mechanism which goes down when sunroof is closing will go down. When the vehicle slows down the mechanism raises. The vehicle's sunroof has been looked at twice by the dealer and they state there is no solution for it and that they test drove another 2006 xle limited and its sunroof did the same thing.
