I was driving back from this weekend on a highway and I noticed a thumping noise coming from the front of the vehicle and then I noticed an engine light came on and instinctively I knew that was a bad sign for all six of us my family and friends. So I immediately exited the nearest exit ramp and that's when the engine stalled and I couldn't move any longer. We called our insurance company for towing and the cops to steer clear of oncoming traffic since we're on the second lane on the exit ramp. I thank god that nothing happened to us but it shouldn't happen to my vehicle with only 93,000 miles with regular maintenance and a clean driving record.
My brand new Toyota Sienna has produced hum noise at around 2500 rpm as soon as I pickup the new van. I have the dealer and the regional reps looked at and they found the noise and they also told me that all the Toyota with the same engine have the same problem. I was told they will not fix it.
