Two problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 1999 Toyota Tacoma. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The airbag sensor won't stop blinking. What if there's an accident and the airbags won't deploy? I believe something with the airbag is defective and may be a potential safety issue.
Hit a deer on the new york state thruway when traveling about 65 mph. Air bags were not activated. No serious injury to myself but had $7500 damage done to the front of my 1999 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Was told by repair department that sometimes air bags are not deployed in accidents.
