I brought my Tundra in for an oil change only to discover all the grease from the inside of the rubber boots covering the axles ends has comes out. The rubber boots had not failed and the clamps were still intact. The grease had made it way past the clamp. I had to have both front axles replaced at 73,000 miles.

Brakes had to be replaced after each failure due to oil contamination.

Rear seals repeatedly leak, causing brake fluid on rear brake drums, resulting in the failure of the rear brakes. First failure reported above. Additional failures as follows: 6/12/2001, 21961 miles; 8/03/2001, 30046 miles; 11/02/01, 40300 miles; 9/21/02, 91056 miles; and now again 10/23/02, 96473 miles. Seals on both rear wheels leak, not just one side. I now have puddles of brake fluid under my wheels in the garage. Dt.
