Unknown Or Other problem #1

I started my vehicle and began to drive down the street. My truck light came on and I almost got into an accident because I lost power. I took it to repair shop and got the code of 2445. When I talked to Toyota I was told that it is a faulty air pump and 3 valves for the air operated injector system a $3500 dollar repair. I was told that moister gets into the pump which causes the pump to send insulation into the valves. This sends the vehicle into limp mode causing a loss of power. I’m lucky I was not on the interstate or it may have killed me. Toyota knows about this defect and refuses to acknowledge the problem. They changed the way it is configured in the newer models and issued a recall for those but refuse to fix the older models. This is a clear lack of safety on their part. If this was to occur on the interstate then people will get hurt. I ask you to seek out Toyota for the safety of drivers and make them recall these parts.
