The contact owns a 2009 Toyota Tundra. While driving approximately 35 mph, the rear wheels detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was towed back to the dealer and they stated that the failure was caused by mechanical negligence. The dealer also stated that the wheels may not be secure because a special wrench was required to tighten the lug nuts. The contact called the manufacturer and is waiting for a response.
