I recently purchased a 2014 Toyota Tundra, and the rear view mirror is not large enough to provide a view of the entire rear window, causing reduced visibility and therefore increasing the likelihood of accidents. I believe this is a serious safety hazard. I contacted Toyota and their action is put my remarks on file. I believe this is a design flaw and the vehicles should be recalled and fitted with a mirror that is large enough to provide a view of the entire rear window. The mirror appears to be the same size as a standard car mirror. Are there no standards that regulate the size of mirrors in relation to the width of the rear window?.
