There is fuel leaking from above the fuel tank. This is an immediate hazard in my book. The tank is half full at this point in time. I believe it is leaking from the fuel pressure switching valve. No warning lights are illuminated at this time. I will confirm that this weekend when I remove the fuel tank to inspect. I have a photo of the leak but it is too large to upload. I will gladly email it to you. I am an ase certified technician.
Tl- the contact owns a 2014 Toyota Tundra. The contact indicated that while operating the vehicle the odor of fuel was present. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer Toyota of sanford(3321 hwy 87, south sanford, nc. 27332) who diagnosed that the fuel lines had failed due to material deterioration causing fuel to leak on and around the engine block and the exhaust manifold. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure(case 190927-1657). The failure mileage was unknown. Jft.
