Vehicle panoramic view monitor camera system becomes unresponsive. Error code u023b87 - lost communication with ecm/pcm missing image. System error renders all cameras except rear camera inoperable. Rear camera lines are removed. All parking and cross traffic collision becomes unresponsive and appears to be off. Only warning lamp was "vehicle trailer assist malfunction" within the trailer display. Problem is always occurring, it is not intermittent. Concerns on safety: inability to utilize parking, cross traffic, and cameras which enhance vehicle and pedestrian safety. Front view camera typically goes on at low to avoid forward blindspot over hood. Without cameras or sensors, may result in collision with low objects or pedestrians such as children on bicycles particularly on large blindspot in front of hood. Failure appeared at 1,800 miles. Toyota dealership inspected and unable to resolve issue. From Tundras. Com search with keyword camera, this issue is widespread across the country on model year 2024 with various methods of repair or replacement of software / hardware.
The cover on the passenger side mirror has a cover with a camera attached that keeps flying off on highways. Last time it came detached from the vehicle and tripped my collision control sending my vehicle into an emergency stop for no reason. I had no warning that this was going to come off nor should I expect body panels to fly off my vehicle. I have expressed this to Toyota and showed evidence of this being a well documented issue with other customers and they are still denying responsibility for this. My vehicle has never been in an accident and this part has never been tampered with. The dealer even feels this is a quality issue with Toyota and tried to help and was unsuccessful.

My vehicle was parked next to a fire hydrant and when I returned to the vehicle none of the warning cameras or alerts was able to pick up the object. There seems to be a glitch when the vehicle is turned completely off and then restarted with a small object in the blind spot.
The new Tundra most of the features are controlled by the 14-inch infotainment screen. The screen has gone completely dark and irresponsive to touch, power on/off, and hard reset by the dealership. Given that so many of the truck's safety features are controlled in this system, the vehicle is unsafe to operate. I have taken the vehicle to the dealership for service and beyond the hard reset (disconnect and reconnect the battery) which they've done, they are unable to diagnose what the problem is or how to fix it.
