There are 2 recalls on my 2023 Toyota tunda, one was filed on 5/25/25 (approaching a year ago) and the other was filed on 11/6/25 and there is no remedy yet on either one of these issues. The 11/6/25 recall, on my notice they stated the remedy would be ready at the end of January or early February and there is no remedy yet. The other one from may is approaching a year from the notice. I am concerned that if these both warranted a safety recall, that with so much time passing, it continues to put me and my family's safety on hold while I feel Toyota is dragging their feet and not being held accountable for following through with these known recall issues.
Toyota Tundra recall 25v322 is still has no remedy available even though the recall was almost a year ago.

This recall {25ta06} has been out since may 15 2025, it's been over a year now. I have called a few times and nobody know anything when this will be completed. Rumors on line say they took care of the ones at the dealership but not the ones that customers purchased. All I need is about when this will be taken care of. Thank you.

Headlights go out randomly usually when using turn signal. Because this happens at night all visibility is lost temporarily. This also confuses other drivers. I haven’t taken the vehicle to the dealer because the symptom is very sporadic and difficult to duplicate. Dealerships will not fix anything unless they can witness the issue. No warning lights or messages were displayed. This problem has been documented numerous times by many different owners on Toyota Tundra forums.

The contact owns a 2024 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated while driving 25 mph at night, the low beam and high beam headlights were extremely dim. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the high beam headlights were adjusted; however, the failure persisted while driving. The contact's friend inspected the vehicle and informed him that the led fog lights were not installed on the vehicle; however, the vehicle specifications indicated that the vehicle was designed with led fog lights. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who informed the contact that they were unaware that the led fog lights were not installed on the vehicle at the factory. The dealer advised the contact that the manufacturer had informed them that the led fog lights were not installed on the vehicle because they could cause a glare to other drivers when driving with the suspension lifted. The dealer installed the led fog lights on the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that while driving 30 mph with the adaptive cruise control engaged, the lane keep assist caused the vehicle to drift outside the lane to the left and to the right continuously and failed to keep the vehicle in the lane. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the failure occurred due to a crack on the front grill. The contact also stated that the hood molding was causing a sun reflection on his eyes while driving, which affected the visibility of the roadway even while wearing sunglasses. The contact stated that the vehicle design caused the water on the road to splash on the windshield while driving instead of parting the water to the sides, which temporarily reduced the visibility of the roadway. The contact stated that the trims on the windows were inconsistently sealed. The dealer was notified of the failures and informed the contact that they would need the vehicle and user data to repair the vehicle. The contact declined to provide the data to prevent a breach. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, bu.
The headlights and high beams are dim . When the high beams are on other cars oncoming are not affected as they never flash their lights because my high beams seem as though they are just headlights. Also the fact that the high beams shine like headlights, there is no option for brighter lighting which makes it hard to see far ahead. I live in a rural location off of a narrow highway with down slopes with water at the bottom on both sides of the highway where large wildlife such as deer are plentiful . Insufficient high beam lighting imposes unsafe travel conditions since the headlights are dim and the high beams are how the headlights should be leaving no option for brighter visibility. I noticed the lighting being dim years ago but I thought it was just something to do with my trucks lighting until I began searching online again for a remedy and found many other owners of the same year make and model with exactly the same issue. Therefore in conclusion perhaps is a manufacturer defect. My truck is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned, it still runs great, I keep it well maintained and I intend to keep using it for as long as we both shall live. I am [xxx] and obviously my truck is over 20 years old and runs great, it would be terribly upsetting if an accident were to occur due to insufficient exterior lighting. I cannot remember exactly what it was I had previously contacted NHTSA regarding my truck , though the exterior lighting is of greater concern now. I noticed the dimness of the exterior lighting since I have been living in this location a lot because there are no street lights along the freeway nor highway as opposed to where I lived prior. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to express my concerns as I appreciate your time and consideration in this matter. My husband and I were waking up to his alarm that went off at 5 am and he hit the snooze, during the snooze time we heard what sounded like a handgun go off so we both jumped up and opened the door leading to the outside of the house and immediately seen my truck engulfed in flames, the headlights were on and my grandson and husband both got water hose's and proceeded to put the fire out but it was so hot and we were afraid that the truck would explode if we got any closer. My next door neighbor called 911 and firetruck arrived to finish putting out the fire but the entire truck was completely melted, at least the cab. The firefighter helped get the hood open so that my husband could disconnect the battery because the headlights were still on and the battery was throwing sparks.

At irregular intervals and at the most random of times my headlights will cut out (including dash lights & radio). It happened this morning driving to the airport but it has been months since it last happened. The road was smooth with no bumps that I recall. This has happened to me in the past while stopped at a stop sign as well.

Led lights are loose and rattle and flash all over the place. While driving over 40+mph or going over any bumps on the road . This only affects trd pro Tundra’s with factory ridgid lights . Toyota does not have a Toyota approved repair even after going to dealership multiple times and calling Toyota USA . They will not do anything for this safety issue besides offer lemon law options . Toyota states this is the only one with this issue . I have done research and brought this issue on a Toyota trd forum and received over 100 complaints of other trd pro Tundra owners with the same issue and Toyota just gives them the run around . I brought this up to my Toyota case manager and declined this is an issue . This can cause photosensitive epilepsy seizures and can cause serious injuries or death. Toyota has already replaced bezels once and issue persist they state they have updated bezel but have no eta on when will be made available to be replaced. Toyota should make a recall on these trd pro Tundras . My Toyota USA claim number is 220519001173.

Wayne drove the truck to work. It was an icy day in texas so he drove slower than usual. He went to pick up a part (for work) from another shop, he arrived at the shop, turned off the truck and went inside to retrieve the part for work. A few minutes later he came out to his truck and the hazard lights were blinking. He did not turn them on. He then noticed the cab of the truck filled with black smoke, he opened the door, raised the hood to take off the battery cables. The fire destroyed his dash and all electrical in the dash. There were no warnings or messages that appeared prior to the fire.

Headlights, taillights and all dash and interior lights go out when using turn signal at night. My and others safety has been put at risk due to the loss of headlights and taillights when engaging the turn signal. Those in my truck as well as those in surrounding vehicles are at risk because of the lack of exterior illumination while driving. Toyota dealer has not been able to reproduce the problem as the technicians do not work at night to drive the truck in the dark when headlights would be in use. Vehicle has not been inspected by any third parties just the dealership. There were no waring or messages or other symptoms of the problem before the failure. Problem first appeared in January 2022 and has occurred on over 6 occasions before truck was taken to dealership in February 2022. Truck was taken to dealership after lights went out at 70 mhp when signaling to exit highway at night.

Right headlight leveling motor failed causing headlight to point at the ground. I now have limited night time visibility on a 13,000 mi. Vehicle. Toyota does not offer a replacement part nor do aftermarket sellers. A youtube video of one of these dismantled motors shows a cheapest of the cheap device. Auto manufacturers should not be allowed to use cheaply made items to point headlights! dealer refused warranty and wants $500+ for a new headlight that will last 13,000 mi. When the left side fails, I will no longer be able to drive at night. This is beyond absurd that a manufacturer is allowed to use the cheapest parts possible on a safety device such as a headlight.
