Interior Lighting problem #1

Instrument lighting for power mirror control module inoperative reported fault at every service visit. No action from dealer,, contacted Toyota corporation via email,, no action. If driver attempts to adjust mirrors at night dome lights must be turned on to find power switch,a very dangerous situation. Example interstate highway under construction[i95 between savanna GA. And jax FL. Raining dark vehicle following you has bright lights on] need to reposition mirror to relieve glare must turn on dome light to locate power switch could be an accident and will be one if Toyota continues to ignore this engineering fault.

Interior Lighting problem #2

We bought a used 2002 Toyota Tundra on 6-16-2005 that had 45,134 miles on it. It now has 109,000 miles on it . When we first bought the truck from the dealership, the brakes were replaced before we took it home because we noticed a vibration. Since then, we have replaced the brakes, pads, etc. Twice. We now have to have the vehicle service again because while driving the truck shakes violently at around 40 mph and braking literally shakes the entire truck. It seems highly unreasonable to have to replace the braking system 4 times in three years of ownership. I believe that there is a serious defect in the braking system in the 2002 Toyota Tundra that could lead to accidents causing injury or death. When will Toyota recall these vehicles due to manufacturing defects in their braking system? I am starting the incident date as of the date of purchase since that is when we first had the brakes replaced. I now have to pay more money to have the entire truck braking system corrected again so that we do not end up in harms way. Toyota needs to step up and review all the complaints that have been filed about this complain. Something is wrong with the braking system in this vehicle.

Interior Lighting problem #3

My 2003 Toyota Tundra's passenger door light keeps coming on and the locks go off and on by themself.

Interior Lighting problem #4

When driving on a bumpy section of interstate 40 (between ft smith and little rock,ar), on two occasions, the electric door locks unlocked automatically and each time I would hit a bump, the dome light would flicker (to the bumps in the road) as if the doors were ajar. Both times, this was corrected (dome light stopped flickering) when I pulled over and reclosed all the doors on the 4 door truck.

Interior Lighting problem #5

While driving, dome light comes on by itself. Has to stop vehicle/open and close doors to get light to go off. This happens intermittently. Dealer contacted. Consumer states that light only comes on once in a while when driving over pot holes.
