I took my car in to the Toyota dealership in longview washington and pretty much they were supposed to replace both airbags and they only replace one and then said that OH we don't know why the airbag lights not going off when I do believe that the passenger side needs to be replaced to also I was told by the Toyota dealership in bremerton that if my friend and started clicking to take it in and there was a recall for that too so and it starts leaking after I had it in there so I think I need to check it out and they're not doing it please contact me at the fishingmccloud@gmail. The air bag light stay on / ac knob not working.
Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Toyota Yaris. The contact stated that the air bag light remained on after two trips to the dealer for air bags recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer. The failure was not repaired and the failure mileage was 64,000. Fe.
My airbag light came on, and hasn't turned off for longer than a minute in the past couple of months. Brought it to repair shop, was told airbag won't work with light on. I was told it was most likely the clock spring. Noticed on multiple forums people have the same complaint. Not sure if I want to replace it with a genuine Toyota part if this is going to happen again in a few years.
Air bag light continues to remain illuminated after vehicle is started.
Airbag light came on and has not turned off. Initially it would be intermittent, now it's continous.
My airbag light will not go out and when I researched the problem it seems to be common and should be addressed by Toyota.
