One problem related to side/window air bag has been reported for the 2011 Volkswagen CC. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
For no apparent reason, steering clock spring ceased function, resulting in the loss of steering wheel controls, but more importantly, the horn and driver's side airbag. Upon internet search, this is a very common problem, starting at 50,000 miles.
