The contact stated that a fuel line going over top of an electrical line or the electrical going over top of the fuel line causing the vehicle to overheat. The temperature gauge light illuminated with an audible tone. The contact coasted to the side of the road and lifted the hood. The contact stated that the coolant was bubbling and boiling in the coolant reservoir. The contact let the vehicle sit until it cooled down and added coolant into the reservoir and drove the vehicle to her son's residence. The contact called the dealer and informed them of the failure and was informed to scheduled an appointment. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 83,194.
