Windshield washer fluid is ingested into the cabin upon activation. Failure is repeatable and consistent. Dealer says this is normal and common to all vw cars. Msds lists nose irritation, headache, fatigue, nausea, visual impairment or complete and possible blindness, acidosis, convulsions, circulatory collapse, respiratory fatigue, and death as the inhalation hazards for washer fluid.
After I closed the passenger door of my 2010 vw jetta sportswagen, the forward glass of the sun roof exploded outward. I am in the process of having it transported to the local vw dealer to have it repaired.
