One problem related to windshield wiper/washer has been reported for the 2010 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Windshield washer fluid is ingested into the cabin upon activation. Failure is repeatable and consistent. Dealer says this is normal and common to all vw cars. Msds lists nose irritation, headache, fatigue, nausea, visual impairment or complete and possible blindness, acidosis, convulsions, circulatory collapse, respiratory fatigue, and death as the inhalation hazards for washer fluid.
