I got into a car accident today. The electrical wiring is constantly giving out and I had no idea my airbags wouldn't work until today when they did not deploy. My car hit the other car enough to move it several feet and no airbags.

This is to describe airbag injuries. My car performed well. If not for the airbag and good construction of this Volvo I would not be here to ask for your help. I am wondering why we still use explosive materials and a device that causes so many injuries. There has to be another device to absorb the force of impact than an explosive device that injures, maim, and can kill people. I want to send images of my injuries which are extensive. Is this what happens each time the airbags ignite? I was close due to my small stature. The bag hit me in the chest and face. Volvo is a safe car. I was traveling at 55mph, a woman stopped her car in the passing lane feet in front of me, everyone was doing 55 mph and more. There was nowhere to go to escape the impact. Frederick, MD hwy 15 south at 7th street has many oncoming ramps, there needs to be warning about oncoming and stopped vehicles. The speed limit is 65mph before these fast-moving on-ramps. A flashing light would also help.

No collision. Srs light has been coming on since 2007. Dealership has replaced wiring, air bags and nothing helps. Srs light comes on every 7 to 12 months. This has been going on for 11 years.

A design flaw caused flooding within the cabin of this vehicle. The sunroof drainage system is faulty and over time leaks water into the floor pan of the car, sometimes enough where flooding occurs. My car flooded a few months back so badly up to 10 gallons of water was vacuumed out. The flooding caused damage to the electrical harness/connections under the driver's/passenger's seat. Currently the check engine light is on, the passenger seat air bag is deactivated and it is unsafe to sit in the passenger seat as the air bag could malfunction at any time, all due to this flooding and the root cause being the faulty drainage system that runs from the sunroof through the dash out of the bottom of the car. There is a class action law suit, no. 2:10-cv-04407-dmc-mf, against Volvo for this specific issue, I believe this issue is leading to more and more problems over time, my vehicle currently won't start and there are only $75k miles on it, I believe water damage is the root cause for all issues with the vehicle at this time, there should be a recall on all vehicles effected or compensation to keep drivers safe in this specific vehicle.

Battery was drained, and this caused car not to start at 150 miles. Srs light kept coming on at 1100 miles. This indicated that there was something wrong with airbags. At 1400 miles, srs light appeared again after dealer had corrected problem. The vehicle failed to start. The forward and backward seat adjustment was not working. There was noise coming from the sunroof. The engine was noisy. The engine light came on.
