The contact stated there was not enough room between the floor and bottom of the dashboard. There was no way that the contact's husband could get foot to the brake. This almost caused several accidents. There is only 11 inches between the floor and the dashboard . Updated 1/19/2006 - there is little clearance between the pedals and the underside of the dash which resulted in the consumer shoe hitting the underside of the dash limiting his ability to move his foot between the brake pedal and accelerator pedal.
