One problem related to rear suspension springs has been reported for the 1998 Volvo S70. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Squeaking noise could be heard from rear of vehicle. Owner told by service and Volvo that the rear coil springs had been installed backwards at the factory. All attempt to solve problem has failed.
