The contact owns a 2000 Volvo S70. While driving 55 mph in an attempt to maintain speed the the vehicle lost power. The vehicle failure occurred occasionaly on a daily basis. The failure occurred for approximately six months. The contact stated that the dealer misdiagnosed the failure on the last three attempts. The current mileage was 95,000 , and the failure mileage were 80,000.

2 Engine Cooling System problem of the 1998 Volvo S70

Failure Date: 05/12/2005

Dt anti-lock brake system contact states each time the brakes are applied the vehicle is more difficult to stop and the wheels have also locked up. Transmission contact states the vehicle make a squeaking nose when parking, the vehicle pulls to the right side when driving at low speed. Engine and engine cooling contact states oil moves up through the ignition control. The vehicle has been taken to a service dealer and the mechanic stated the vehicle needed a new engine.
