One problem related to brake disc pads has been reported for the 1999 Volvo V70. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Under normal braking conditions pedal intermittently feels bouncy and vibrates. Sometimes there is also a bumping noise. This happens only when coming to a stop, never under emergency braking. Braking distance is normal. Vehicle taken to dealer 5 times, replaced hydrolic unit/control module/front brake pads, and all tires. Did not remedy problem. Dealer stated it was normal for this vehicle to react that way during braking.
