The contact owns a 2006 Volvo V70. The contact stated that the transmission failed. The gears were not shifting properly whenever the vehicle was in a lower gear. The failure caused the vehicle to jerk when the contact tried to accelerate. The dealer stated that it was a software issue, but that did not fix the failure. The dealer also stated that the vehicle needed a new transmission, because they feel that the solenoids on the transmission were defective.
