I own a 2025 Volvo Xc60 plug-in hybrid (phev). The vehicle has recurring software defects that create a serious safety risk. First, the infotainment and central control system repeatedly reboots while I am driving. On a single trip from washington, DC to burlington, vermont, the system rebooted approximately 8 to 10 times. It has also rebooted within minutes of starting the vehicle during local driving. Each reboot blanks the center display, which disables the backup/parking camera and interrupts the speedometer and driver-information display, climate controls, and other functions. Losing these displays and controls while the vehicle is in motion is a significant safety hazard. Second, after installing a Volvo over-the-air (ota) software update, the vehicle was rendered completely inoperable. It would not unlock or start and could not be accessed through the key fob or the Volvo cars app, and it had to be towed to the dealer. Based on numerous owner reports, failed ota updates that disable the vehicle this way are a known, recurring problem on these models. Third, the front and rear parking cameras have both cracked during normal use, with no impact damage, and the vehicle displays a "parking cameras need cleaning" message at nearly every stop. No crash or injury has occurred. I have reported these issues to the selling dealer and to Volvo customer care. The reboot and lockout problems are recurring and have not been durably resolved.

After a software update to the infotainment system (android automotive os version 5. 1. 17, installed on 06/03/2026), my 2022 Volvo Xc60 b5 intermittently loses all audio output. When the failure occurs, the vehicle produces no sound of any kind: no audible rear parking/proximity sensor warning while in reverse, no turn-signal indicator tones, and no media audio. The rear-view camera image still displays normally, so the loss of the audible backup warning is not obvious to the driver — the parking-assist system appears functional while its audible warnings are in fact disabled. On multiple occasions the failure was already present as I backed out of my garage and began driving, leaving me with no audible obstacle warning while reversing and no turn-signal tones while maneuvering. The display, navigation, and camera continue to function while audio is dead, which indicates the audio service stops responding rather than a hardware fault. The only way to restore audio is to fully restart (reboot) the infotainment head unit; the failure then recurs intermittently. The fault began immediately after the 5. 1. 17 update and was sporadic at first. After noticing a pattern, I documented occurrences on 06/15/2026, 06/17/2026, and 06/20/2026 with timestamped photographs, which are available on request. No crash or injury has occurred, but the loss of audible backup-warning tones while reversing is a safety hazard, particularly for pedestrians or obstacles behind the vehicle. I am not aware of a current recall covering this issue and am requesting investigation.

The seal on my 2020 Volvo Xc60 moonroof allowed water to leak under the floorboards. My car is only 6 years old. We had a lot of rain over a short period and I noticed the sound of water sloshing around under the floor. Nothing was wet inside the car. My check engine light came on as well. I took it to the Volvo service dept. They are now saying wires are corroded and that it will cost me over $11,000 to fix this problem. Again - my car is only 6 years old, and less than 70k miles. With my previous Volvo, that I had for 18 years, I never had this problem.

An intermittent electrical failure occurred to my wife causing my 2021 Volvo Xc60 to stop and then later go into limp mode while driving. The service light went on immediately and was very startling to her and made it difficult for the drivers following as the car speed was significantly reduced/ I suspect limp mode though it was not on the dashboard. When I called Volvo and then brought the car in. . . It is a known issue to Volvo. They purposively produce a vehicle that is known for sunroof leaks which knowingly leads to electrical issues exposing their customers to harm. Volvo (geely) inspected the car, found the electrical issues from the front interior to the battery compartment that had water over an inch deep. The vgm (vehicle gateway module) was replaced and reloaded, all connectors were separate/dried and several had to be cut/spliced and rewired due to corrosion damage. Carpets were removed, the gasket was replaced, the front and rear sun roof drains were cleaned out. Aside from the safety concern the shrinking of the rubber gasket caused the issue. Not funny, but Volvo/geely states that the repair now has a lifetime warranty after I was charged over $4,000 usd. The vehicle is only about 5 years old!!.

Demand for repurchase or replacement under warranty — VIN [xxx] vehicle: 2022 Volvo Xc60 (pre?certified) purchase date: 08/19/2024 dealer: [dealer name, [xxx] ] dear Volvo cars USA customer care: I am the owner of the above-referenced vehicle. Since the date of purchase (08/19/2024) the vehicle’s infotainment system has repeatedly failed: it shuts down and reboots frequently (as often as 10 times within one hour of normal driving). Each shutdown disables navigation, hvac controls and bluetooth, and on reboot I must reset settings. This defect creates a significant safety hazard while driving, especially in unfamiliar areas. Since purchase I have returned the vehicle to the dealer for diagnosis and repair on multiple occasions. The vehicle has received software updates approximately 3–4 times, most recently on05//05/2026. The problem persists. I have retained copies of all repair orders and service records documenting these visits. (copies attached. ) this recurring failure remains unresolved despite multiple repair attempts and continues to present a serious safety risk. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
I was driving home in my Volvoxc60. I think its a 2025 or 2024 model. I drive very safe and never do anything crazy when I drive. I came to a stop like normal at a red light and the screen said accident detected (specifically rear collision avoidance or rear collision something) and the seatbelt started crushing my chest and my body. It just continued to press down and crush me and the car wouldn’t let the seatbelt unbuckle like it was locked up. It was locked and basically just sucking her in with a very strong force. No car got close to me and I finally got it after like 2 minutes and drove home. I think its pretty unbelievable a new SUV which is supposed to be very safe and reliable does that and appreantly and my chest is still very sore. Both dealerships near us don’t have a loaner car for a month. It was very scary and basically the car was crushing me for multiple minutes.
I received the the recall for the rear backup camera system not working now the whole cars safety system doesn't work. The infotainment screen keeps crashing and showing a dead android on it thus killing the turn signal noise, climate controls, safety systems blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control randomly turns off, rear backup cameras still don't work. Overall this could lead to an accident as the whole cars safety system is not working and it makes me wonder if this could trigger the car to fail while driving if the operating system is malfunction or bad. I have tried to fix the issue with a factory reset but nothing seems to be working.
On multiple occasions that center screen goes blank while I am driving, the indicator lights do not click, there is no display of vehicle speed, and the map function disappears. These issues cause uncertainly if not panic. I do not know if my indicator lights are working, if I can change lanes or if I need to change where I am trying to drive to, all while the vehicle is moving. I can only guess at how fast I am going. There is no warning before this happens. The dealer says that a software fix required by a recall would fix these problems, but they continue to happen.

3rd time driving our Volvo on the road and having the automatic emergency brake engage too early or in this instance, with no vehicle in front of us. We have been dealing with issues related to the safety systems and error messages in our Volvo related to “blind spot”, “automatic emergency braking”, and sensor failures or errors since having our vehicle leased since 2023. It has been in the shop multiple times to have sensors replaced only for errors to come back. Our system current says to clean the front sensors even though there is no debris on them. We also experienced this errors while driving 2025 loaner models with our vehicle in for repairs. We feel unsafe in our vehicle and can’t rely on the safety systems. We have also experienced the entire auto system failing in our car multiple times. This leads to any sounds system including emergency warnings to turn signals from not producing any sounds.

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? the specific component has not yet been identified. The issue involves unexplained water intrusion into the vehicle’s floor pan under normal operating conditions. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? water intrusion into the cabin creates potential safety risks, including exposure of electrical systems to moisture, possible corrosion of critical components, and degradation of interior air quality (e. G. , mold). These conditions could affect vehicle reliability and occupant safety. The last time that I drove it the brakes were engaging randomly and forcefully. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? the vehicle has been inspected by a dealership; however, the source of the water intrusion has not been identified or confirmed, and responsibility has not been accepted. Neither did the dealership provide requested documentation of the leak test. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? the dealership has inspected the vehicle, and a claim has been submitted to my insurance carrier. Volvo corporate has opened a case but has not conducted a technical inspection or provided findings to date. Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? yes, there were both warning lamps and messages, and the dealership serviced and claimed that it was 90% fixed and were just waiting for a small component. They said that I could resume driving it, then the problem got worse.
My car periodically shuts down while on highway and once a week is completely dead and requires a jump or a tow. I have brought this to the dealerships attention for over 18 months and they continue to tell me that the problem is fixed. The car shut down and was completely dead again this week. No one from na Volvo has ever called me back when I report the problem or has responded to countless inquiries.
On December 28 the tailgate on my Volvo 2025 Xc60 phev began to open and close randomly while it was not running, parked in my garage and and plugged in. I unplugged the car from the charger, firmly closed the tailgate and went back in side my house. I checked on the car several minutes later to find the tail gate open again. I again firmly closed the tail gate and this time ensured that I locked the car with the button on the key fob. 10 minutes later the tailgate was open again, while the car was parked, turned off and not plugged in. After closing the tailgate again, I now locked the car via the app. When I checked again in 15 minutes the car was unlocked, but the tailgate was still closed. All of these incidents happened between 8 am and 9:45am. I was able to take video and still pictures of the incidents. Several weeks ago, I was driving and noticed that my tailgate was open. I had recently left a shopping center so I figured I had some how not closed the tailgate properly. This would be the first time I ever made such a mistake. I pulled over, closed the tailgate and continued on. I now wonder if this was a similar problem. Safety risks include injury to people from the tailgate itself and risk of loss and damage to items in the vehicle and the vehicle itself. This is an additional incident of a previously reported issue with the electrical system of this vehicle.
Water leaking from the windshield seal (possibly the moonroof) gets into electronics under the dash and causes the transmission to stop working properly and also causes the engine to just stop completely. It happened 4 years ago and Volvo replaced a module but it happened again a week ago.

Car is 16 months old and a plug in hybrid. After replacement of the 12 volt battery, the on board charger, and the wiring harness due to complete system failure, I picked up the car from service. Within an hour of having the car back, the dashboard suddenly went blank while I was driving. There was no warning or notice. This presented a safety issue as I was using gps and relying on directions at the time. I pulled over and turned off the car and tried to “reset” the dashboard and was unable to do so after several tries. I returned the car to the dealership where they were unable to immediately fix it.
I decided to clean off my windshield with the windshield wiper spray and wipers and noticed my windshield would not turn on at all. I heard no noise from the motor coming on nothing happened when I attempted to turn them on. I knew rain was coming in the next few days so I was worried I was going to have visibility issues. Contacted the dealer who stated they had no loaner available. I had to drive in the rain with no windshield wipers. When I finally dropped my vehicle off to get serviced and explained the issue, the tech explained this has been a common with issue with many people especially because of the snow, he states “people keep turning the wipers on with snow on the windshield. ” he also said his 6 month old Volvo had the same issue. However, I have never turned my windshield wipers on after snow without removing the snow off first so this was not the case. With multiple issues with different people, the tech issue’s with his own 6 month old car it sounded like a recall issue to me. I was told the motor had burned out on my 2024 Volvo Xc60 that I have had for just under 2 years and it was no longer under warranty because I was 1,000 miles over my warranty. No error messages appeared on my screen to let me know there were any issues with my windshield wipers at all. This is a huge safety issue, I was not made aware there was an issue if the rain began after I was driving I could’ve been in accident hurt myself or/and others. I know there is a recall for Volvo trucks for windshield wiper motors.
Let me preface this with, my make, model, and year for these problems have been recalled back in 2021, however I was not the owner then and my VIN was not listed as an affected vehicle I guess, nonetheless the problem is exactly the same as experienced by those that were listed on the recalls in the past. Im the 2nd owner of this vehicle and I have owned it for almost 3 years now. In July 2025 after a summer rain in so. Cal, I was a couple blocks from home running errands and after being stopped at a light, I began to accelerate and felt like the vehicle was loosing power, I made it home but definitely not able to go the speed limit and once I got home I couldnt shift it into any gear and the vehicle would not turn off. So I had to remove the fuses under the hood, I left them out for a few hours and let the car sit off in my garage during that time. I later came back put the fuses back in and then the car wouldnt turn over. I had it taken to the dealership by aaa and thats when I first learned of the sunroof leak, I contacted Volvo headquarters and got no help and explained all of the same to the service dept at the dealership working on my car. Long story short the dealership allegedly found water under my interior carpet which obviously damaged modules, I am still paying on that repair. Fast forward to October 2025, same thing all over again only this time the dealership tells me essentially its on the house, however they had my car 3 weeks and did no repairs only got water out of it once again and “brushed off some corrosion”. When I pick it up, it immediately starts funny, I turn the car off and walk right back into the service dep t& raise my concern, to which I was told they had no problem with a hard start up, and we go out to my car & it starts up fine, so I leave 4 days after I got my car back, the check engine light comes on, & immediate warning of reduction of engine power & sure enough thats what it did. Today it enters safety mode & wont start.

My wife and I purchased this vehicle brand new from the dealer in Feb 2025. To date, we barely have 4,000 miles on the car. Since owning the car, we have experienced at least 5-6 incidents that the vehicle’s computer system fails to operate. When this occurs, there is no sound from any devices. The entertainment system works, but no sound, the blinkers work but no sound. More important, the car heat/cooling systems don’t operate, the light indicating cars are in your blind spots do not operate. We brought our vehicle back to our local dealership each time. In September, the dealer reached out to Volvo to have the computer “brain” replaced. They had the car for three days only to be told Volvo denied the replacement because what is occurring is a known issue and an update release was coming in November to fix the issue. November came and went and still no update. We spoke to the dealership and they had no idea. They recommended us contacting Volvo directly. We reached out to express our frustration and was told someone would get back in a few days. About a week later, we received an email from Volvo expressing their sorrows for our inconvenience and to open a case with our dealership. I was extremely disappointed as I responded indicating that’s what we have done time and time again and there’s nothing they can do. It’s a known error and the only way to reset to have the car parked and hold the menu select button. It takes about 3 minutes or so for the system to reboot. The last time this occurred we were driving home and the system shut off. This left us without heat and no safety features. Volvo is clearly aware of the issue and it appears there’s no urgency to get this resolved. We paid a lot of money to purchase this vehicle and it’s been a big disappointment we are looking for some assistance.
The accelerator got stuck and and the engine went full power. It would not shut off and the overheated.

There has been at least 5 incidences where the audio stopped working for the turn signals, navigation stopped, radio stopped and air conditioning stopped. The first 2-3 times the system reset itself. The 4th incident I was driving in torrential rain, the wiper auto sensor stopped and every warning light on the dashboard lit up. As the rain dissipated, the system seemed to clear itself. Today, on my way to the dealership, the turn signal audio stopped, navigation stopped, radio stopped. The service advisor verified the situation. His response, per Volvo instructions, tell the customer to reset the system once a month. There's no written instructions to resolve the problem. The service advisor admitted this is an ongoing problem and corporate is making no attempt to resolve it. Is Volvo waiting for a life threatening situation before addressing the problem. I can't rely upon the computer system to function properly. Volvo has a responsibility to its car owners for supposedly being one of the safest cars on the road. This vehicle is becoming unreliable. Thank you.
The usb ports under the center console malfunction frequently. The main, top engine mount disintegrated and needed to be replaced under 50,000 miles. The rear seat seatbelts come loose and sag easily. They do not retract automatically. The rubber stripping, where the door jamb is, comes off. The handles to the air vent break off very easily, rendering the vents inoperable. * software for the vehicle malfunctions constantly, displaying the incorrect readings for fuel economy, the gas gauge, and more. It is possibly affecting the catalytic converters and O2 sensors. * vehicle turns itself on, in battery mode. * blind spot indicators to not light up sometimes and do not make any noise indications of nearby cars.
On 9/1/25 while driving 25 mph in the neighborhood the car started shifting very hard. Upon getting back in the driveway and put in park all dashboard light came on. Car would not leave park, parking brake would not work. Windows would not roll down, dash would not turn on, car would not turn off. Got it to the dealership and the told me it was a software update that needed to be done.
When arriving at the high school parking lot to pick our grandson up from band practice, we experienced sudden unintended acceleration of our vehicle as we attempted to pull into a parking spot. This resulted in a collision with another vehicle that had backed into the parking space in front of us. That driver was inside her vehicle and claimed injuries. As you can imagine we were pulling into the space at a very slow rate of speed when all of a sudden the car lunged forward at a high rate of speed, jumped two parking lot cement barriers and slammed into the rear of her vehicle. The car is equipped with all the latest collision avoidance equipment, but did not stop before hitting the other vehicle . . . And no automatic warning sounds went off that I am aware of. A police report was filed and a tow truck had to be called to tow the vehicle. The vehicle had less than 5,ooo miles on it and had only been owned by us for 4 months (it was new when we purchased it). The accident happened on August 27, 2025 and we did not get our vehicle back from the body shop until Monday, November 17. Not only was our safety at risk, but the other driver and several students in the parking lot at the time. This incident could have been so much worse, or could have ended in a fatality. Volvo did an inspection of the vehicle, but the results were inconclusive and our insurance company paid the claim. As soon as we got our vehicle back we took it to our local Volvo service manager to have him check it over. He has indicated the car is safe to drive . . . But I am very nervous about driving the vehicle now. The cost to repair the vehicle was $14,145. I was not distracted at the time of the accident and I am certain that I did not hit the accelerator pedal. Note: I never received a copy of the accident report, but I believe our insurance company has a copy.
Acceleration from standing position.
2022 Volvo Xc60 t8 recharge VIN: yv4br0dm0n1987807 mileage at time of complaint: ~38,400 purchased: November 2023 (certified preowned) description of problem: the vehicle's infotainment system and backup camera have experienced repeated failures since the time of purchase. The backup camera intermittently fails to display an image when the vehicle is placed in reverse, leaving the driver without rear visibility. The infotainment system freezes, goes black, or becomes unresponsive without warning. These failures affect the federally mandated rearview camera display required under fmvss 111. The vehicle has been brought to authorized Volvo retailers (jim fisher Volvo, portland, or and germain Volvo north hills, wexford, PA) more than eight times for in-person service for this concern. The same issues have also been troubleshot remotely by phone or text on approximately ten additional occasions. Software updates, system resets, and other attempted repairs have not permanently resolved the problem. On one occasion, the backup camera failed to display while reversing, which contributed to minor rear bumper damage. The driver was relying on the camera display as designed and federally required, and the system did not perform. I am aware that NHTSA recall 25v282 (Volvo r10320) was issued in April 2025 for this defect across 413,000+ vehicles including the 2022 Xc60. Despite the recall, the underlying infotainment and camera reliability issues in my vehicle have not been resolved. A second recall (25v392) was issued after the initial software fix caused braking concerns in some vehicles. No injuries have occurred. No crashes have occurred beyond the minor bumper contact described above. Volvo customer care case #xxx was opened and a goodwill assistance request was denied.
We’ve owned a couple of the Xc60s from the new generation. We have had many conversations with Volvo and the dealership but they have yet to rectify the issue. What it all boils down to, is that Volvo put an underperforming center console in its new generation of cars (2016-2025). The console does not have enough memory to process everything it’s doing. As a result it locks up and either freezes or shuts off. The problem is the console operates everything in the car. When it fails everything goes dark including the dash. The safety features turn off and you are essentially driving blind. We have had this issue on so many of our cars: 2018 Xc60 which was replaced with a 2019 xc90 to avoid lemon law. The 2019 xc90 had the issues. We have been leasing and are stuck in this cycle because Volvo refuses to address the hardware issue. Instead we are forced to either drive a car with a dead brain or trade in for another Volvo. Volvo keeps thinking it can solve the issue with software updates but that’s not true. They need to do a ram upgrade for these cars. We know we are not the only ones with these issues and the advice of “just reboot” or “don’t use the apps” or “don’t use the crash mitigation features” does not work. We specifically picked Volvo for safety but enough is enough. Our car is undriveable and from our sample size alone 6 out of 6 new generation cars have had this issue. The console shutting down sometimes takes out the virtual cockpit too. Meaning no speed is displayed, the car may try to mitigate crashes erratically, the heating and cooling will also not function. To put it plainly, the car turns into a flying brick. I feel very fortunate that this has not caused a crash yet.
Volvo Xc60 sunroof drains clog and leak. Sunroof maintenance is not mentioned in owner's manual, and dealer does not clear drains during regular service unless specifically asked to. Leak causes damage to electronic systems including airbag system. While any sunroof has the potential to leak, this leak is caused by a design failure - their design makes it easier for debris to ingress into the tracks and clog them. Cost to fix issue and replace sunroof is over $5000. This is a known problem with numerous forums and videos on the internet describing and promoting 'fixes' for, but in reality, Volvo needs to provide a real solution.

Backup camera failed while backing up. 07/28/2025 screen went black. Other computer controlled functions also failed concurrently, e. I am writing to formally express my significant concerns and dissatisfaction with the recurring software and system issues I have experienced with my Volvo Xc60, purchased on 1st February 2025, approximately four months ago. The vehicle’s vehicle identification number (VIN) is [xxx] . Since taking delivery, I have encountered multiple persistent problems that have severely impacted the vehicle’s functionality and my overall driving experience. These issues include: car sensors: the sensors frequently malfunction, leading to inconvenience and raising serious safety concerns. Heads-up display: the display intermittently shuts off, limiting access to critical driving information. Cruise control: this feature is entirely non-functional, significantly detracting from the driving experience. Sound system: following a recent service visit, the audio system has completely stopped working, with no sound from the music system, indicators, or system alerts. Check engine light: the malfunction indicator lamp (mil) repeatedly illuminates, suggesting potential issues with the engine or related systems, likely triggered by sensor malfunctions. This persistent warning heightens my concerns about the vehicle’s safety and reliability. Despite multiple visits to your service center—exceeding ten occasions—these issues remain unresolved. The service team has typically reset error messages or updated the software, only for the problems to reoccur shortly thereafter. Most recently, the sound system failure emerged post-service, further compounding my frustration with this brand-new vehicle. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
On 6/24/25 warning given that rear camera — actually all cameras — were unavailable. Cameras remained unavailable for several hours, when they “magically” came back on. 6/24/25 — radio sound disappeared. Only returned after a hard reset of the center infotainment system. 6/25/25 — another warning that cameras were unavailable, but as quickly as it flashed on, it went off, and cameras were available. 6/25/25 — entire infotainment center and air handling/ac system went black while I was driving. Center re-set itself while I was driving. Warning light that cameras were unavailable also flashed on then off. 6/25/25 — vehicle, which was only purchased on 6/18/25, was picked up by dealer for investigation. 6/26/25 — told that problems are known by Volvo, apparently related to a software update instituted after a 3/25 recall for same problem, and that multiple vehicles are reporting same and continued issue. Software updated is “promised” but date undetermined.
For more than a year, we have experienced issues with the infotainment system. Despite many trips to the dealership it has not been fixed. The infotainment system randomly shuts down and or reboots, which seems to affect other systems like turn signals, climate control, lane departure alerts, etc.
Volvo has failed to repair or compensate me for the NHTSA recall 25v-179. I received a notification of te recall in a letter dated may 14, 2025. I have repeatedly visited the local dealership as well as called Volvo customer care. Today, in a conversation with a Volvo customer care representative, I was told there is no timeline for the batteries to be replaced. I would like Volvo to rectify the issue by replacing my battery or car in a timely matter. Thank you for your help, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).
Recall identified over a year ago during q1 2025. Manufacturer and dealer have failed to provide appropriate updates for the repair, and no eta has been given for repair. The only direction received from manufacturer and dealer was to not plug in the vehicle until the recall is completed. So as it stands, I paid for a plug in hybrid vehicle I haven’t been able to plug it in for over a year as it has a flawed hybrid system that apparently can’t be repaired.
I am submitting this report to formally document a significant safety issue involving the driver display module (dim) on my Volvo Xc60. Prior to reaching 45,000 miles, the dim began to intermittently glitch, displaying only a barcode-like screen. This eventually progressed to complete failure of the unit with complete lack of digital driver display without analog back-up. As a result of this malfunction, all critical vehicle information became inaccessible, including the speedometer, odometer, fuel level, gear selection, and dashboard warning indicators. This failure severely impairs the driver’s ability to safely operate the vehicle, as it removes access to essential operational data necessary for safe driving and decision-making. I reported this issue to Volvo customer support, but they were dismissive of the concern and offered no meaningful resolution. In researching the problem, I found multiple similar complaints documented in online automotive forums, suggesting that this is not an isolated incident but rather a recurring defect among Volvo Xc60 vehicles. Given the safety-critical nature of the driver display and the fact that this failure occurred in a relatively low-mileage vehicle, I believe this issue warrants investigation by NHTSA. The frequency of these failures and the serious risk they pose to driver awareness and vehicle control support the need for a safety recall. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
My air conditioning system failed. The entire dashboard and front seats had to be removed. This included having to replace the a/c evaporator, evacuated a/c refrigerant system, removed center console, removed dshboard and all related components, removed and replaced evaporator, adapter for evaporator, o-rings at expansion valve, reinstalled wiring harness behind dash board and all related clips, recharged a/c refrigerant system, additionally, I continually received a power steering disable notification, and parking assist disable notification. This is so frustrating.
