One problem related to windshield wiper/washer motor has been reported for the 2002 Volvo XC70. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Cross country. Windshield wipers work intermittently. Dealer replaced wiper motor in July 2002. Two weeks later the problem occurred again. Vehicle was taken to dealer a second time, could not duplicate the problem. At present the windshield wipers are working intermittently.
