Traveling 7-10 mph, busy residential street in lou, ky, car swerved in front of me, applied brakes, nothing happened. Changed to right lane, attempted brakes, 2nd time, loud grinding noise, from rear of vehicle, no braking action. Pulled vehicle to far-right side of road, put red hazard lights on, pulled off roadway at first opportunity, to safely do so.
