2 Turn Signal problem of the 2016 Volvo XC90

Failure Date: 08/04/2016

I updated the maps in the car's navigation system on 8/3/2016. At that time, Volvo's server in sweden were down. They had been down for days. Next morning, when I started driving to work, I noticed that the sensus system started rebooting every couple of minutes. As I drove on the highway, I noticed that when the sensus system rebooted, if my left turn signal was on, it would go off for a couple of seconds and then come back on. If the sensus system was rebooting and I tried to turn on the left turn signal, it would not come on. This is a safety issue as sensus system is just a central console and it's reboot should not impact car's basic functions. By the time I left work in the evening, the server in sweden was back online and the sensus console stopped rebooting and issue never happened.

3 Turn Signal problem of the 2005 Volvo XC90

Failure Date: 07/13/2015

Aside from normal care, I have only replaced my tires and a gas cap. I started to experience some water seepage onto the driver-side. I covered the vehicle when it rained and figured I would have a look at it when I had time. July 2015, I took my Volvo to savannah Volvo, fixed my breaks along with other safety fixes, after 14 hrs of having my vehicle and 2800 later, pete stated everything was taken care of and the water seepage was due to the drains being clogged, but, they are all clear now, we did a water test and everything is ok. You will experience some more water seepage but it should dry up in a few days. He also mentioned some other work that needed to be done though not until November, December. I said great and got on my way. Three days later it did rain, confident I did not need to cover my vehicle and was still experiencing water seepage from my visit, I did not think any thing of it. The next day, my control panel started to light up. I called savannah, and he mentioned it must just be because you put a full tank of gas. . . . What??? ok. As the week went on the control panel continued to light up one by one. The day before going back, my driver side turn signal was on. Hoping I did not have a dead battery the next day, I headed to Volvo. After 4 hrs they tell me the roof drains were cloggd and seeped onto the cem, and it is damaged. I said to pete, I thought the drains were clear when I left a week ago??? yeah, well, we can't create a problem with your drains. Though, after 10 yrs I leave there and 3 days later experience a problem, after you told me my drains were all cleared? several phone calls to the dealership and Volvo headquarters, not one person is taking responsibility for this bad design, which could have caused my transmission to limp and a possible accident! it now sits in my driveway, after spending 2800. 00 I will never purchase another Volvo!.

Failure Date: 05/13/2011

Driving from phx to tus at 75 mi out of phx at about 2200hrs. The car completely failed for fraction of a second then resumed normal operation until arriving at destination 10 mi. Later. The second time a week later was traveling to phx at 1800 hrs. 70mi out of tus. The car failed like the first time then a few seconds later did it again reached destination about 15mi. Later. When this happens the lights, radio, windows, dash light and gauges all stop working the mess. Comes on abs, srs. Its happened 5 or 6 times now with the worst being yesterday 16 June 2012 . I got off loop 202 and pulled in a parking lot and shut down the car and then attempted to restart 4 times before it restarted. The a/c,windows, lights, gauges, turn signals all failed. The mess. Abs, srs, check engine came on. I drove about 5 mi to destination. I'm now scared to drive it if the srs, abs warning are on are they working? if in an accident will the passengers and driver be protected ?.
