Internal leak in radiator causing a leak of coolant to transmission fluid and vice versa, damaging transmission and rendering car not drivable within moments.
I was driving my car about 35 mph and the transmission started slipping. I pulled over to the side of the road and had the car towed. The radiator fluid had leaked into the transmission, initially I had the radiator replaced and had the contaminated fluid flushed and replaced several times. I drove the car for several days thinking that had taken care of the problem- it did not!! I had to have the transmission replaced at 103,764 miles. The total cost to me for both repairs was $4519. 09. Now I am finding out that has been a problem and I feel that Acura should have recalled all of the 2004 Acuras and should pay or in the very least help with the cost of the repairs.
